FOOD BANK
Our choice-model Food Bank allows you to “shop” with a grocery cart and select items specific to your dietary preferences and cultural needs. We have a limited supply of gluten-free, vegetarian, and gluten-free items.
Open Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
Households can access the food bank every three (3) weeks. If you are unhoused you can access the food bank every week.
Eligibility: Available to North End Halifax households in the B3K Area Code only, unless unhoused. We ask all guests to bring identification for each family member and proof of address.
Note: Please bring your own shopping or reusable bags. We do not always have boxes or bags that guests can take with them.
